Investing in your recovery
I believe that cost shouldn't be a barrier to getting help. My fees are competitive with other therapists in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, and many extended health insurance plans cover my services as a Registered Social Service Worker (RSSW).
Individual Therapy

Support for families and couples affected by addiction. Work through communication challenges, set healthy boundaries, and rebuild trust.

Professional in-person presence in court, assistance with preparing for appearances, and emotional and practical support throughout the process.
Many insurance plans cover my services
As a Registered Social Service Worker (RSSW) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, my services are covered by many extended health insurance plans.
Coverage varies by plan, so I recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm your benefits for "Social Work" or "RSSW" services before your first appointment.
How to check your coverage
Contact your insurance provider
Call the number on your benefits card or check your online portal.
Ask about RSSW coverage
Ask if your plan covers "Registered Social Service Worker" or "Social Work" services.
Check your annual limit
Find out how much coverage you have per year and if you have any remaining.
Submit your receipts
I provide detailed receipts after each session that you can submit for reimbursement.

Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so we can discuss your situation and determine if we're a good fit before committing to a session.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept e-transfer, credit card, and debit. Payment is due at the time of your session.
Do you offer sliding scale or reduced rates?
I understand that finances can be a barrier to getting help. If cost is a concern, please reach out and we can discuss options.
What is your cancellation policy?
I kindly ask for 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be subject to the full session fee. That said, I understand that unexpected situations can arise, if this happens, please reach out as soon as possible and we'll work together to find a reasonable solution.
